Josip graduated at Faculty of Law, University of Split in 2014. During his studies he was a President of European Law Students’ Association – ELSA SPLIT and a member of Debating Society. As part of student exchange program ERASMUS, during his last year of study, Josip studied at Faculty of Law at University of Maribor where he got acquainted with the EU law and the Community acquis.

Josip started his legal career as attorney trainee at Marijo Granić, attorney at law office.

In 2018 Josip passed the bar exam and has been working in Law firm MATULIĆ SUMIĆ & partneri d.o.o. since January 2019, first as an attorney trainee and than as an attorney at law. He represents and advises clients in areas of civil law, damage claims, bankruptcy law, intellectual property law and tax law.

He is fluent in English and Russian.
