Ivan graduated at Split Law University in 2007. He worked as attorney trainee at Nora Matulić Sumić legal office and opened his legal office in 2011. In 2015 he founded the Law Firm Matulic Sumic & partneri together with Nora Matulić Sumić.

In his legal practice he represented and advised many private and corporate clients, including shipyards, shipping companies, investment funds, manufacturing companies. He represents and provides legal assistance in all cases of civil litigations, property law, damage claims, contract law, legal matters regarding real estate, labour law, maritime law, copyright law, law of information systems.

He is fluent in English.

He is a member of a legal team at the Freedom of Speech of Expression Centre at the Croatian Journalists’ Association.
